It surely damages our healthy ability to freely evaluate situations by ourselves (which means from God’s point of view through our own original mind or conscience).

Manipulation based on lies can keep us in bondage as long as we allow it to operate.

Sun Myung Moon did not spare his own children from his manipulations. They inevitably had to suffer from his behavior, because they were born in a true dysfunctional and manipulative family.

H2 is not exempt from such damage. He stands in a very uncomfortable position. He now admits what for so many years he personally contributed to keep hidden from members: his father’s adulteries and his corrupt divided family. We are so far away from the idealized legend of the “perfected true and holy family” which for so long all the Moons have been pretending to incarnate.

However, H2 wants to remain loyal to his abusing father. So he somehow perpetuates the myth of the divine and perfect chosen messiah. The “twisted logic” and unavoidable contradictions which appears in his reasoning become very hard to digest.

He mistakenly believes that all these “revelations” would have been understood and accepted by members if they had been made public before. He believes members would have unreservedly followed his father. That is absolutely untrue! It’s only because all the way members were lied to, that they were able to go on “in good faith”, and keep trusting the fake idealized Moon family.

40 years ago, rumors existed, but the fully informed UM leaders lied to dismiss these rumors which they cleverly labeled as” persecutions” or “satanic attacks”. Christians and many other people in Korea rejected and opposed the Unification Movement because of Sun Myung Moon’s cheatings and manipulations. The ones who stayed and collaborated did it only because they believed the leaders’ lies.

Unificationists’ manipulated minds can’t think by themselves anymore. They fully identify with their manipulators. They blindly swallow fallacious concepts which become their taboo articles of faith. No logical argument can ever challenge these new dogmas anymore. Loyal followers may come to even justify indefensible corruption. … That’s how far the UM manipulation can go and how powerful it can be.

The longer one is kept under the Moon’s illegitimate control, the longer it takes to recover one’s freedom.

It then becomes a long process to completely free oneself from this UM distorted mindset.  Months and years later, one can even find himself or herself still unconsciously affected by the manipulative “Moonie typical thinking”.

But the UM lies are now being exposed. So the leaders’ efforts to keep controlling members and justify the indefensible past of the Moon family, will finally become powerless.

Unificationists will fully recover from their emotional turmoil and psychological damages.  

For our happiness, the Divine light of Truth will prevail.

And God’s healing power of Love will endure forever…
