THE PIGEON WHICH REFUSES TO BE PLUCKED...

Thank God: absolute predestination does not exist. For our happiness however free will does exist! This magnificent universal truth is rightfully mentioned in the Divine Principle book, and remains true and forever valid, inside and outside the Unification movement. It's then possible to fulfill our dreams. We can have hope and invest our whole heart toward building together enchanted tomorrows. With such understanding, we are grateful to do our part to achieve the noblest ideals...

However, let's beware of seductive dream merchants. There are wolves who imitate so well the voice of the good shepherd to misguide the trusting sheep. Good hearts can easily be seduced and misused by manipulators. These deceivingly use God's sweet words to hide their narcissistic hunger for power and control.

Waking up to reality after years of unrealistic dreams in the Unification Movement, one may have the feeling to have been unscrupulously used as a guinea pig for a megalomaniac Korean experiment.

As we reach the inglorious conclusion of this experiment of hijacked ideals and embezzlement, we ought to remind ourselves Jesus's advice to become "wise as serpents and innocent as doves".

A tyrant may vanish but wandering tyrannical ambitions may reappear elsewhere. Tyrants are easily replaced. So we should be careful and benefit from the lessons from our past.

I will always remember that the genuine Sanctuary God is yearning for is nowhere else than in my heart.

Outside attractive temples often turn out to be costly spiritual cages whose owners, for their vain glory, just want to control others and strip them of everything.

Therefore I want to remain a free and wiser pigeon which doesn’t want to be caught.

A pigeon which refuses to be plucked...
