THE POWER OF LIES AND TOTALITARIAN IDEOLOGY

Once I had been fascinated by the Mooniverse and subjected to its rules, I did not have to think by myself anymore… I just had to repeat what had already been chewed for me. So I became a “wise heavenly parrot”…

Who on earth could be more enlightened and wiser than the “absolutely one-with-God” messiah? Who would dare to think different than him?

Whenever I happened to notice contradictions in Rev Moon’s speeches or find flaws in the DP logic, I was encouraged “not to think too much”. The given reason was that “Satan would make me confused because of my lack of faith”! Then… That was it!

That’s how my brain has remained unplugged for many years…

In MFT and “witnessing” activities, as in all my interactions with those “who hadn’t seen the light”, I was able to perfectly parrot with amazing conviction the now official “God’s point of view”. On anything! How great!… And how pitiful!

My stereotyped expressions and statements were, word for word, the priceless UM messianic messages. The endless unwinding of Sun Myung Moon’s delirious and daily repeated speeches in continuous unpredictable evolution.

The sound use of our God given critical mind should prevent us from being fooled by wolfs in sheep clothes. Long before harvest time, one can already see the difference between the wheat and the tare… But no one is blinder than the one who doesn’t want to see.

The grip of a totalitarian ideology is so stong that it becomes very difficult to go beyond the unique official thought. One can’t but have a hard time to dissociate from such a strongly integrated way of thinking.

That’s the power of ideology and the power of accepted lies.

It’s useless to rationally pin point flaws in Moon’s ideology through mere logic because DP has it own circular logic to explain everything. Furthermore unquestionable “providential explanations” are always available as a perfect safety net to back-up the biggest holes in the UM “infallible” theology.

The UM theology has deceitfully developed its own ambiguous new language or rather its own efficient manipulative gibberish.

It’s then indeed very difficult to get rid of the captive Unificationist reasoning which self-justifies the implementation of the fallacious UM ideology. And just exposing Rev Moon’s lies, deceits and misbehaviors is not enough to free oneself internally. We might still remain resentful and prisoners from a forever gone past.

It takes a complete change of paradigm. Unificationism is intrinsically deceitful. Rev Moon’s misleading ideology is wholly based on erroneous premises: the literal interpretation of myths, legends and other fictional Biblical stories…to ultimately position himself as the cosmic savior.

There is no point in putting new (holy) wine in old wine skins. We need not a new king. Only changing our mindset will make us free and allow us to move forward.

Only then will we gradually recover. We will heal with love and forgiveness. And our sharing might partly contribute to the healing of others who also went through the same adventurous path within the Mooniverse.
