Sun Myung Moon proclaimed he was the best teacher ever and the Unification Movement was the best school that ever existed. In this special school:
-The fees were exceptionally high -very exceptionally high-
-The exhausting never ending hard work was always insufficient.
-The holidays for the students were planned for after the graduation.
-The sleeping time was very short and the scolding time very long.
-The permanently induced feeling of guilt was part of the educative strategy.
-The students were always reminded of how much they were eternally indebted toward the teacher.
No one ever graduated from this school, even after more than 40 or 50 years of no-stop diligent studies, including all the personal and familial sacrifices absolutely required by the "greatest teacher".
Were all the students in that school so stupid? Or was the abusive "teacher" an authentic psychopath? Some would say both. For both behaved as such.
Truly, from the start, this peculiar UM school I attended many years has rather been a real madhouse...Thank God nobody ever graduated to become like the teacher.
PS: At a second thought, there might be few members who are not too far from it...
