CRUEL SPOT CHECK ON "THE NEW TRUTH"

Dr Tyler Hendricks who is a well-known Unificationist apologist, recently reported on Applied Unificationism blog:

” Through database searches of Rev. Moon’s speeches, Unificationist scholar Dr. Jin Choon Kim found numerous examples of divergent statements. On some topics, Father Moon’s words are 100% consistent. On others the divergence is 95% to 5%, 80% to 20%, and as much as 50%-50%.”

Will this cruel spot check on “messianic words” shake the minds and hearts of sincere believers? Or will scholars be able to find once again indefensible acrobatic justifications through prodigious intellectual contortions? Creativity is limitless. And so can be mental blindness and manipulative incitement to servile obedience…

I must admit that, without being myself a scholar, I had also noticed that a close look at the “new truth” spoken by Father Moon reveals indeed many hidden lies and contradictions.

So now we should also be aware that these official figures and revealed percentages of inconsistency can grow even more significantly when we study Father Moon’s deceitful made-up auto-biography …

Furthermore, we should keep aware that Father Moon’s whimsical theology is 100% based on the fictional characters of Adam and Eve who never existed (as modern science explains it today without any ambiguity). If we also remember all Father Moon’s broken promises, his endless boastful self-aggrandizement talks and his pathetic phony proclamations, it becomes very difficult to grasp when he did actually speak the truth…

Once we take all this into account, who then can still be surprised by the steady inconsistent Unificationist actions, which are the mere reflection of its inconsistent message? Sun Myung Moon’s so-called messianic movement, with its surprising mixture of naivety and arrogance, has become remarkable for its noticeable inefficiency to have a positive impact on society, in spite of its amazingly huge available resources

Instead of enjoying the promised Kingdom of God on earth, the Unification movement is now in such a complete mess! How was such a tremendous waste of energy, time and money possible? The answer is quite simple:

It’s all the sad and logical result of the sincere members’ misplaced trust. They did believe the weird claims of their schizophrenic “messiah” at the top of the pyramid. So they blindly obey Sun Myung Moon and faithfully followed his schizophrenic inconsistent directives they mistakenly believed were God's inspired words…

As an honest apologist of the Mooniverse, Dr Hendicks has then a huge task ahead of him: a hopeless full-time job in trying to sort out the truth among such a big heap of hypocrisy, hubris, fantasy, inconsistency and lies.

I have personally been trying hard to make sense out of all this non-sense. I have painfully exhausted all possible explanations, excuses or justifications (ex: translation problems, difference of cultures, words taken out of context, etc…) but all in vain.

Once you stay away from the warped “positive” influence of the Unificationist guru land, you start to see things as they really are and not as Unificationists would like them to be.

You then can’t but admit that Rev Moon’s parasitic and made up messianic environment is based on:

Psychological group pressure,
Subtle induced guilt
Implicit threat and suggested fears (common to all apocalyptic groups and insurance salesmen)
Exaggerated “testimonials” from bribed VIPs
Mandatory servile reverence for the “True Family”
Heavy permanent propaganda or brainwashing techniques
Ever-embellished Unificationist legends, etc…

Now is the time for everyone to shockingly realize that the king is naked (in a figurative sense: I am not referring here to Sun Myung Moon’s generous availability for “pikareum redemptive activities")…

Will then Unificationist scholars face this inglorious miserable reality or keep busy searching for possible gems in all this stinking dirt? It'll certainly be hard to catch a pleasant holy smell there.

My friendly advice would be to proceed as Heracles did, when he diverted the course of a river to clean up at once the filthy Augean stables: a kind of efficient big scale toilet flushing…

Then, all will be able to take a long refreshing breath and deeply thanks God for His ever-present Love and abundant free Blessings, beyond the imploded Mooniverse and its twisted “revelations”.

Isn’t it great to realize there is only one sole and unique human race? That there is only one God’s lineage which is God’s extended Love…and that we all belong to this one lineage!

The basic truth being that, in spite of it all, we are brothers, as Jesus said, truly…
