CONFISCATED FREEDOM AND EXTORTED CONSENTS IN UM

Manipulation is not something which can only happen to others.

Benjamin Franklin once said: « Half-truth can be a great lie”

That’s a reality. Some people with a big smile on their face can tell you half-truths to obtain what they want from you. So we could say: Great liars with a big smile on their face…

That’s actually the recipe for “hard sales” on market places but, more unexpectedly, it's also the policy and practice of the UM.

The UM is well known all over the world  for having very efficient manipulative methods of recruiting and extorting money. However among its members it's considered as “normal” and "justified". They subtly resort to use psychological pressure together with their “providential” deceitful disclosure of partial truths.

“How and when?” will then indignantly ask the amnesic Temple keepers…

Here are some of the many deceptive ways the UM practice hiding facts and making tricky empty promises:

• in witnessing activities to supposedly bring “guests” to meetings on “Christian unity” or to "Peace events" without clearly mentioning Rev and Mrs Moon and their real objectives.
• in sending members on MFT supposedly for "spiritual development" to absolutely take “by all means”, as much money as possible from “fallen people” without any consideration for their personal situation (ex: recurrent extortion of huge amounts of money from widows in Japan)
• in being cornered to accept marrying a completely unknown spouse under amazing pressure, and sometimes even through "photo matching"…(Until the terrible scandals of Japanese and Philippine women married against money to Korean farmers who were not even UM members)
• in being pressured to accept “a very important providential mission” actually nobody cared about few weeks later, because meanwhile another more “providential emergency activity” happened to cross the imaginative mind of the messiah…
• in recurrently using  the magic “Father said…” formula to ask for always more sacrifices and “indemnities”
• in subtly instilling guilt and generating fear of “not being enough or not doing enough…”
• in deceivingly extorting a lot of money during mandatory “clapping sessions” under the pretense of “saving” 430 generations of ancestors …
• in controlling “blessed families” through forbidding young second generation to marry with “non-blessed” partners , unless a spell would be cast on them and they be cursed and be responsible for their ancestors’ added suffering.
• Etc….

All this for God’s glory? Absolutely, the end justify the means! Remember Jacob, Tamar and Rev Moon! Yes especially Rev Moon, for he is the one who told us about Jacob and Tamar once he conveniently discovered he had something in common with them. He then chose them as alibis to justify his own misbehaviors “in God’s name”. That's how he maliciously managed to present cheating as being providentially acceptable by God.

The saddest point is that a “so-called all knowing messiah”, can only make infallible statements! Then freedom of thought and enlightened judgment can't exist anymore, for they could become a potential threat to the messiah's “divine authority” and therefore should be discarded.

 “But you were “free” and then “responsible” according to what the DP book and Rev Moon said” will reply the Temple keepers.

Really? Let’s just consider for example the issue of random “matching” by Rev Moon who with his so-called messianic gift of second-sight managed on few occasions to match together physical brothers and sisters. How can one be "responsible" for something one doesn’t know anything about?  What then means "accepting" and "free choice" under high psychological pressure while important information remain hidden or completed ignored in a given situation?

In a lottery there are always winners who can “generously” preach to others that their responsibility is to have "faith" when being given their lottery ticket. Does this really explain and give an accurate account of the reality?

This is less than half true! It's definitely a great lie and a huge manipulation!

Can you really “ choose” under heavy pressure, with only partial elements available and important facts being willingly kept hidden from you? That’s plain cheating and tyrannical methods used by bullies and mafias to extort anything they want from innocent people.

The UM has become a movement of broken promises. Out of fear, leaders came to make false or exaggerated reports to avoid being scolded by their "messiah" who systematically burden them with more unrealistic demands. Where are then love, freedom and enlightened consent in such situations?

Who would expect this from a “Holy Spirit Association” or from a “pure Korean messiah”?

This expression “Pure Korean messiah” being actually only one third true. Rev Moon was indeed Korean, but “pure” and “messiah” are really not, IMO, accurate qualities to define him.

The Moon family appears alas more bigoted than begotten and in constant desperate search for self-glory with an insatiable hunger for tyrannical control over members.

That’s the very reason why “freedom” in the UM is subtly confiscated. Members are reduced, by a pressure they can’t recognize anymore, to merely living in accepted bondage under the Moons (their masters) who do keep telling them how to think in every situation.

However, the UM present confusion and divisions, as the result of the violent infightings for leadership among the sectarian Moons can be a precious and salutary opportunity for members to think on their own. Hopefully they can benefit from this situation, since the usual tight psychological pressure is now consequently decreasing and the grip on them is getting a bit loose.

Could this be the promise of a new world?

May then Peace start with each one of us!

And may God’s everlasting Love guarantee to all of us the divine gift of freedom of thought, while preciously cherishing one’s enlightened consent…
