KING AND QUEEN OF DECEIT

Throughout human history, seers and prophets have episodically managed to grasp some snippets of truthful information from the spiritual world. So on rare occasions they have managed to decipher genuine secrets from Heaven, often in the midst of many other weird and nonsensical “revelations”.

Therefore idealistic spiritual seekers had somehow to be readily prepared to believe the most apparently trustworthy contemporary guru. They have been compelled to follow such an unsatisfactory and uncomfortable road while genuinely searching to know intimately their Creator and safely walk in His ways. Like if they were driving through heavy fog on a dangerous road and being solely equipped with an unreliable GPS. Chances to safely reach the destination were almost nil.

But in the 70’s, the most incredible news broke out in the western world: The Lord of the Second Advent had mysteriously appeared in Korea.

Some hippies went from LSD to LSA. They could now suddenly fill up their brain with new fanciful and mind boggling scenarios without resorting to smoking herb or taking other hallucinogenic products.

Rev Sun Myung Moon had claimed he was the incarnation of the Second Coming. He was therefore absolutely one with God’s mind and heart. He had victoriously reached "the top of the perfection stage", that which no other human being had ever been able to achieve before, except Jesus 2000 years ago. He was then coming to fully unveil Heaven’s secrets and help fallen humankind reach the same level of perfection as him, and establish God’s Kingdom on earth.

To his amazed and often rather gullible disciples he pretended to know perfectly God’s time table. He used to boast about his ability to explain in detail everything from God’s point of view and give the hidden reason for everything happening in our world. From the significance of the fall of a leave to the outcome of next political elections, from the meaning of natural disasters to the disclosure of winners of future soccer games.

However Rev Moon’s predictions very seldom matched with reality… strangely enough without ever shaking at all the followers’ faith in the infallibility of their enlightened prophet. Because, infallibly, in each and every situation, Rev Moon knew perfectly well why things didn’t turn out as he had previously announced: It was of course always his followers’ fault and their lack of dedication which had made his predictions fail.

So Rev Moon, as a remarkable charlatan, skillfully managed to keep the delusion running for decades.

However he is no longer around. He has taken his final bow and left us with his messy family and a world as messy as when he came.

I don't however, personally feel betrayed anymore. I have come to realize that while meteorologists are right in 50% cases, mediums usually succeed with only one pertinent prediction out of 6 or 7 … on average. Based on that amusing criterion, I have then reached the rather benevolent conclusion that Rev Moon was at best an ordinary unreliable medium, probably a bit more exotic than others, but certainly not the Second Coming.

What about Mrs Hak Ja Han then? Is she the perfect “Only Begotten Daughter” she keeps pretending to be? Is the “one-with-God Holy Mother” genuinely able to fill us with wonder through her cosmic heavenly insights and her awesome wisdom?

She rather seems to have nothing interesting to say but boasting about her so-called messianic titles. Apart from the fact she lives in luxurious palaces all around the world and wears finest jewelry, one can objectively notice she doesn’t have much more clues about what is going on in the world than most other North Korean citizens.

Didn’t she announce 8 years ago the firm settlement of the ever postponed idyllic “Sheon Il Guk” for 2020? Has anyone seen this capricious UM kingdom appearing? It seems that all Unificationists have already forgotten Hak Ja Han‘s daring prediction from 2013.  She boasted she would mobilize day and night, as never before, God knows how many hundred billions of “absolutely good ancestors”. These had been previously liberated (and at once mobilized) against the substantial monetary ransom paid by their generous Unificationists descendants as well as their so-called efficient required self-slapping.

7 years later what have been the real observable results? Undoubtedly Hak Ja Han has lavishly been benefiting from the members’ ancestors’ liberation fees and costly staged shows to vainly promote herself, but nothing else has really been happening as she had over-confidently announced earlier. Quite to the contrary, since 2013 the UM has imploded, split and shrinked without having any real impact whatsoever on world affairs...

In 2020, instead of her prophesized blissful kingdom, we got covid 19 all around the world! The so-called absolutely one-with-God “True Mother” who is supposed to intimately know God’s precise time-table, was absolutely unable to sense and foretell this coming major disaster, not to mention explaining its “providential” significance.

Her sole and weird explanation for this horrific plague which has already killed more than 4 million people (and which has crushed the worldwide economy and lastingly increased misery all over the world), can alas be found in her thoughtless speech from last year, as recorded in the 2020049 FFWPUI official note from May 8^th 2020:

“During the work for Vision 2020, I pushed myself a little too far physically and my legs became painful. My thought was to return immediately to work but in reality I was unable to. Mysteriously, Heaven granted me the necessary time to rest. Thinking about it, I have nothing but gratitude”

Is such a clueless statement up to the seriousness of the greatest common tragedy humankind is now facing since WW2? The most important thing is that she could rest…“Thinking about it, I have nothing but gratitude”. It then clearly appears that nothing matters for Hak Ja Han beyond her megalomaniac fantasies she keeps entertaining in her mind. Frankly, who can still believe that such a shallow self-absorbed person could be a reliable caring messiah?

As surely as the hood doesn’t make the monk, definitely the golden crown doesn’t make the heart of gold…
