ONE TRUE FAMILY UNDER GOD?

I have been told about One True Family under God.

I then came to believe that the idealized Moon family was one, was true and holy.

I later found out I had been mistaken.

So I decided to look honestly at things as they were (and not as I wished they had been) and revised my perception.

It led me to admit that I had made a poor choice, and that I had allowed myself to be conned.

Here is what I sadly discovered, while checking what was “one”, what was “true” and what was “under God” within the Moon family, beyond their own story telling:

• Sun Myung Moon, in his made-up story claimed he was the “True Father” and “Emperor of the universe”, and that God Himself depended on him only. However:

-He actually never set up the standard of a “model father” for all men to follow. He had numerous concubines and children with at least 4 different women. All his successive “True Families” fell apart.

-He pretended to be a family unifier but ended up divorcing twice and banishing his very son that he had prepared to become his official heir. Where was then his Godly wisdom and insight? As a “True Father”, how deeply did he understand his son’s heart?

-He also proclaimed to be a religious unifier. But while he tactically promoted religious tolerance and loving unity among all believers, he himself labeled and condemned one of his sons as a “Heretic”. Isn’t “heresy” precisely what has been dividing religious people during all of human history? Sun Myung Moon clearly showed  there that his unconfessed motivation was not actually to unite religious people, but ultimately to convert them and impose on them his own peculiar theology, less they would all be labelled as heretics. So, he was just deceivingly using the banner of religious tolerance solely toward that end.

• Hak Ja Han, the Queen of the Universe, made her own different story. She changed and contradicted Sun Myung Moon’s words after his passing to promote herself in God’s position. In her revised Unificationist theology, she proclaimed she was born sinless as “God’s only begotten daughter”. She dismissed her children from leadership and engaged in legal battles against them to remain on the top. Meanwhile she claimed to be equal to God whose justice she does not seem to trust completely…

• The “True Children” made their own stories to justify their erratic sinful ways, blaming others as did their father. They vainly attempt to match up with the frightening titles of “sinless Abels” their father gave them to justify his own messiahship. They are now fighting among themselves in order to be recognized as Sun Myung Moon’s genuine heir. They separate openly from the “True mother” they consider now as God’s enemy. As their father did, they also require absolute obedience, loyalty and support from the remaining troops…

So, One True Moon family under God?

Surely not one, but sadly divided, accusing and excommunicating each other.

Surely not true, but full of lies, corruption and arrogant claims.

Surely not under God whom they pretend to represent, while hating each other and exploiting their followers’ credulity.

Let’s finally admit that beliefs per se, won’t ever make us better human beings.

Only our behavior will!  For deeds are louder than proclamations.

Let’s then, with a bit of wisdom bear good fruits, and be true to God and to ourselves!

Let’s humbly light our small corner of the world with love and forgiveness… As far as possible from the predatory mafia from the Mooniverse.

Let's not listen to false prophets twisting bible verses to justify anything...

Through love only we shall strenghthen the oneness of our human family under God.
