WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE UM THEOLOGY?

What is wrong with Unificationist theology?

Simply what it does to those who believe in it...

-They become trapped in the induced perception that they are "responsible" for the sins of the whole world. Therefore they come to integrate the inherent guilty feeling which it subtly implies. From then on, they will admit and justify that they must "pay indemnity" for all past and present evils  in the world, by unconditionally submitting to Sun Myung Moon, the cosmic savior.

-They become convinced that they are part of the "Chosen ones". Unlike the rest of humankind, they now belong to God’s lineage once they have drunk Rev Moon’s holy wine.

-They come to believe they are always absolutely right, since they detain the ultimate Knowledge of the Divine Principle . They perfectly understand “God’s point of view” because the omniscient “True Parents” told them so.

-They can’t anymore have any genuine interaction with “outsiders” without the ultimate motives of converting them. They'll weirdly do anything possible to desperately pour “holy wine” in people's stomach in order to “save” them, even without their knowing.

Unfortunately such absolute nonsense can’t but create absolute weird bigots. They often become particularly unbearable proselytizing bigots.

If only they could pounder on the following piece of advice from a “fallen” “unsaved” Sufi poet :

“God want to see more Love and Playfulness in your eyes, for this is your greatest witness to Him”

This is truly the most profound and universal life-giving theology I have ever heard of...

Unlike the UM theology, it implies no harmful side-effects.

Playfulness, Humor, Openness, Love and Kindness are indeed harmless efficient antidotes to bigotry. Without any ulterior motive, genuine generosity generates the amazing positive side-effect of liberating the expression of the Fruits of the Spirit.

Some wise people rightfully say that God works in mysterious ways.
