A liberating perspective on the deceptively idealized Unification Movement and its idolatry of the Moon family. May these insights help misled generous souls to break free from the Unificationist treacherous manipulation and subtly induced spiritual enslavement, with love and forgiveness...

Does history repeat itself? Isn't "now" a brand new moment which no one has ever lived before nor will ever live again in the future? Strangely enough the human mind enjoys finding similarities between the past and the present which can objectively be compared and evaluated. However such similarities may mistakenly be interpreted as mystical correlations with a providential hidden meaning.
Such historical similarities were obviously never conscientiously planned by human beings and probably not planned by God either. But taken away by their delirious imagination, manipulative gurus can certainly develop such hazardous theories to control their credulous followers.
Why would God have such desire to see replays of previous scenarios? Is God suffering from a manic-depressive disease? Didn't God create every human as a unique being with a unique destiny?
From such perspective, if history seems to repeat itself, one may reasonably think it’s because humans are slowly learning and have unfortunately the tendency to often repeat the same mistakes on their steady path of spiritual growth. It actually seems to often happen through a slow process of 3 steps forward preceding 2 steps backward.
DP teaches however the existence of the “Parallels of History” which would be God’s great master plan. DP is supposed to have clearly revealed it through the “Providential time identities”.
We can then legitimately question if these “Parallels of Providential time identities” really exist.
I personally came to the conclusion that this teaching is plainly a whimsical and erroneous human theory for the following reasons:
- It would imply that God had to totally control and plan (restrict or allow) mankind’s spiritual awareness at special “providential” times. Doesn't this mean that God’s unprincipled take-over became necessary at certain specific times just to achieve “time identities”?
-Aren’t, in that case, providential figures simply useful puppets for God to display impressive designs with human events, solely to have Unificationists marveling at this "providential intervention" centuries later?
-What about the God given freedom and responsibility of people living at other times? Were their lives unimportant and meaningless in God’s eyes? Would God forbid them to grow and participate in advancing His providence -avoiding the serious risk to prevent the appearance of puzzling Parallels of history-?
-There are no true time identities -not even one single one- among the selected periods mentioned in DP: few are almost identical periods but most of them correspond to entirely different time periods.
-Furthermore the theoretical providential numbers (400,120 210) don’t actually correspond themselves to the Jewish history and even much less to the Christian history. Isn’t then the DP interpretation of history actually using its own circular logic -solely based on Unificationist beliefs-in order to prove the validity of DP?
-The selected time periods actually present very unparalleled contents and meaning: What has the unproven 430 years of exploited labor endured by economic migrants in Egypt (Exodus 12:41) to do with the 280 years of martyrdom of early Christians because of their faith in Jesus from 33AC to 313AC? What has the violent invasion of Canaan by nomadic Hebrew tribes to do with the Roman Emperor’s decree to stop the persecutions of peaceful Christians? What has the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem and the unwanted exile of Hebrews to the foreign pagan Babylon to do with the Pope’s decision to transfer of Papacy from Rome to another Christian land in Avignon? Etc.…Isn’t it rather far-fetched to draw comparisons between these events? I personally see more manipulative suggestions of unproven correlations than real logic here.
- These “parallels of providential history” part of DP solely aims at justifying Rev Moon is the LSA. Such mental construction implies that God has remained the uncreative prisoner of Rev Moon‘s speculative dogmas of the “fallen blood lineage” and of the symbolic “restoration through indemnity”. These ultimately lead to the idolatry of Rev. Moon's model “sinless True Family”… And obviously such ideal family was never established. That's how DP definitely leads to a spiritual dead-end.
- This theory about “Parallels of providential history” is undeniably a fascinating illusion. It deceitfully oversimplifies the past to interpret it while disregarding the accuracy of historical events. Obviously those distortions are needed to fit with a whimsical bias which Rev Moon suggested over and over all along the DP. It reminds me of what occurs during a hypnosis show when people come to “believe” and trustingly accept as “real” anything the magician can “suggest” to them, however delirious and far away from reality it may be… It’s only when the hypnotic trance ceases that hypnotized people can again see things as they truly are, and not as they had perceived them because someone else suggested so.…
Now that the magician has already taken a bow and said goodbye, I really wonder if self-hypnosis can lastingly work the same…
