BLACK HOLES IN DP COSMIC TEACHING

DP appears to be both a rigorous and a flexible teaching with few definite ambiguous zones. These left room for Rev Moon’s various interpretations (when needed), and even today for other Unificationist re-interpretations.   

Within the Unificationist narratives however, there are indeed specific areas which systematically disrupt and contradict the very “logic” of the DP theory, like black holes in our universe seem to elude and ignore the traditional laws of physics.

In these DP black holes, the rays of light are suddenly shattered and one can’t be but disoriented since all previous points of reference and most basic logic seem to have mysteriously vanished.

For example, DP states that when a man and a woman have reached “perfection”, they become one with God‘s heart and mind- living in Divine love- and therefore can’t ever betray God nor each other. Only such a couple can set up the family 4 position foundation “where God abides and rests peacefully for eternity”.  Rev Moon claimed he had victoriously established such a perfected family which Jesus never mentioned nor achieved on earth.

That’s the fundamental theory and the core of Unificationist beliefs.

However, once we proceed to a closer analysis, it seems we are actually reaching one of these DP black holes and worrisome zones where typically puzzling “unprincipled” phenomena occur…

It’s now clearly obvious that Mrs. Moon‘s understanding weirdly contradicts Rev Moon’s entire life teaching, and greatly distorts the essentials of the original DP message of the last 60 years (while members of FFWPU don’t seem to notice it or refuse to acknowledge it).

 How can we then explain that The “True Parents” who are supposed to be both one in Heart and mind with the same God, come up with two completely incompatible narratives of God’s Providence, and indisputably teach contradictory Gospels?

How can we explain that Rev and Mrs. Moon after 52 years of a so-called “perfect marriage centered on God” show such a huge ignorance and misunderstanding of each other’s heart, mind and responsibility? Certainly Rev Moon’s adultery didn’t help much toward the so-called “TP’s mutual trust and loving unity”…

Meanwhile, the Peace preaching members of the “True Family” have openly become quarrelling enemies, who are fighting and filing lawsuits against each other.

How can we explain that the “true family”, as the perfect model and substantial expression of Divine love and heart, has become such an example to the contrary through its shocking corruption and fierce infighting for power?

The sad reasonable conclusions one could draw from this officially unconfessed miserable reality should be that:

-1-Rev and Mrs. Moon never were “one with God’s heart and will” nor “one with each other”. They only both pretended so.

-2-The “true family” and the “4 position foundation” were definitely a DP seductive diagram which certainly represented an inspiring idealistic dream. Unfortunately it never has been embodied by the Moon’s family. The “True family” was just a disingenuous claim from Rev and Mrs. Moon.

-3-The “true children” were not more special people than average human beings. Rev Moon however claimed that they were to become the 12 glorious “Abel” tribes who would lead humankind in the future. They would be mankind’s mandatory gateways to be connected to God. Wasn’t this prophesized megalomaniac nepotism (which seems more and more unlikely to become a reality) for the least a pure whimsical theology?

-4-The seductive DP theory has been revealed a mere highly speculative theory which was built around the manipulative concept of the "fallen blood lineage", while Rev and Mrs. Moon were having a totally mistaken appreciation of themselves as “messiahs” and “True Parents”.

Rev Moon claimed to have the Divine mandate “to establish the 4 positions foundation”  simply because Jesus failed to establish such a perfect family 2000 years ago. But this is just a unificationist speculation on the reason for Jesus coming at that time. Shouldn't the plain facts that Jesus himself never mentioned anything about such a "Divine mandate", and neither ever referred to original sin or fallen lineage, lead  Unificationists to seriously re-consider the validity of the DP theory and Rev Moon's claims ?

As for me, I am definitely not lamenting in despair within these puzzling DP black holes. I have fortunately quitted this choking Mooniverse altogether.

The childish idealization and the superstitious idolatry of the so-called Korean messiahs may however spur the best within UM members. Inspiring fiction as well as autosuggestion and self-hypnosis can be a powerful tool for personal development. Besides the genuine power of love Unificationists are experiencing does come from God.

God can certainly use fictional and/or idealized “True Parents” characters to help Unificationists in their growing process. This would be the logical and rather consistent continuation of the UM cosmic narrative whose fictional Adam and Eve characters were the first imaginary actors.

Unlike theologians, God is definitely not nitpicking in matters of theology….
