A liberating perspective on the deceptively idealized Unification Movement and its idolatry of the Moon family. May these insights help misled generous souls to break free from the Unificationist treacherous manipulation and subtly induced spiritual enslavement, with love and forgiveness...

The time has come for a real UM showdown. What does matter most? Hak Ja Han’s personality cult or the genuine cooperation with other faiths? Hak Ja Han’s megalomaniac craving to control other religious leaders or the sincere stand for unconditional religious freedom?
At this 2020 Assembly in Korea, as usual, bribed personalities had been invited to praise the “true mother” through delivering exciting sycophantic speeches. But there were also other remarkable new guest speakers who delivered deep thoughtful insights. Are really Unificationists genuinely in line with the sincere ecumenical longing of these attendees from other faiths?
It’s obvious that these outstanding guests had in purpose not been fully informed about the Unificationist real agenda. By some kind of “providential ambiguity”, attendees were somehow intended to become “useful idiots” simply promoting the incomparable greatness of “the Mother of Peace” and her unproven superiority.
However through their freedom of speech some guest speakers have unknowingly pin-pointed the hidden UM flaws and challenged the monolithic UM vision. Will these new insights efficiently help members broadening their perspectives? Will then Unificationists be led to reconsider some greatly overlooked realities within the UM tightly closed-up circle?
Once you open the door you can’t stop the light entering…
I found rather interesting to listen to the 25mn speech from Dr William Mc Comish, who had been invited to the event as the key speaker on leadership. (From 59 to 1:24 on the video)
After mentioning that some world leaders have sadly become openly vulgar, liars, sexists and racists (in US and England), he emphasizes the role of religious leaders to courageously take the lead in denouncing such unacceptable behaviors. United religious leaders should truly all stand together as Peace makers to inspire better ways.
Dr Mc Comish then refers to “the Geneva spiritual appeal” he was actively involved in during the “1999 United Nations Day”. The key point of this ecumenical declaration was a vibrant and solemn call to never invoke spiritual or religious sources in order to justify:
-violence of any kind
-rejection and exclusion of others
-domination or control of others through spiritual persuasion
Isn’t truly this ecumenical “Geneva Spiritual Appeal” a huge challenge for Unificationists?
Are DP and the Moons’ recurrent teaching and practice from the last 60 years really in line with this outstanding declaration?
These most important conditions which Dr William Mc Comish mentioned are indeed a solid base for a World Assembly for Peace to be meaningful.
Are however these 3 essential requirements truly compatible with:
- The UM and the Moons’ manufacturing and selling deadly weapons?
- The UM and the Moons’ excommunication of “heretics” and scornful rejection of homosexuals?
- The UM and the Moons’ spiritual pressure (through guilt inducing teaching) to always extort more money and control members?
In the same video (at 2:04) a misinformed Prophet from South Africa is then mentioning how happy he feels to be part of “a movement which respects all other forms of worship”.
This pastor probably never heard Rev Moon calling Christians “idiots” and excommunicating his own son for being a heretic. He probably never heard either Mrs. Moon claiming; “I am your master and you must obey me!”.
A bit further in this video (at 2:29), a Nepali spiritual leader declares he longs to see Nepal becoming again a Hindu country. I suspect however Hak Ja Han and Unificationists to have an unconfessed slightly different expectation…
Since years, attentive observers have rightly underlined the danger of the UM ideology which, under the claim of “unification”, ultimately aims at eliminating democracy, pluralism and religious freedom.
Wouldn’t it be great- and quite ironical- if this 2020 World Clergy Leadership Conference could then provide Unificationists members with a new realistic vision for Peace, away from the Moons’ ruthless manipulation and controlling hold?
