BACK FROM THE MOONIVERSE

We all got so happily drunk with the same foggy otherworldly utopia that, today, with great nostalgia, we still unconsciously keep longing for this unforgettable power of idealization.

Our seductive delusion was rooted in “True Parents” who detained God’s complete knowledge and were holding God’s absolute authority on earth and beyond.

The DP we had the privilege to have been taught was perfect Truth. So all the tasks we were given were God’s direct order which had to be accomplished without fail as our historical assigned responsibility. Every single UM activity was solely intended to promote and glorify “True Parents” in order to extend the realm of God’s Kingdom.

As the UM deceitful propaganda is now fading away- or at least losing its power of attraction on ourselves-, we somehow start waking up from our deeply induced sleep-walking state and we slowly come to grasp, with a serious hangover, that we indeed all have been naïve manipulated idealists…

But we are, and we’ll remain forever, God’s children and therefore brothers and sisters…

And I fully agree with Jesus and the Beatles: Love is all we need.

But love definitely doesn’t mean ruling other people's lives "in God's name", demanding absolute obedience from them and dictating what they should do. Genuine love has nothing to sell to others but to help them stand by themselves on their own two feet. Love has nothing to systematically expect from others because of so-called "particular providential emergencies" or "special superior knowledge" God would be unable to directly share in their hearts.

It's a much greater challenge to keep providing  helpful  encouragements  while  allowing  others  to  blossom and    fully  express  their  unique  selves at their proper pace.  It's  never  too  late  to  genuinely  start  serving  others  without any  second thought  while   becoming  ourselves   inspiring   examples...

However, after years of being repeatedly told our “messianic mandate to save others”, it’s not easy to depart from the sanctimonious tendency to proselytize, but it's a truly worthy and rewarding experience...
