Beyond the mooniverse

A liberating perspective on the deceptively idealized Unification Movement and its idolatry of the Moon family. May these insights help misled generous souls to break free from the Unificationist treacherous manipulation and subtly induced spiritual enslavement, with love and forgiveness...

THE UNIFICATIONIST "LIE-LIE LAND"

The Unification movement is deeply rooted in misleading speculations.  Rev Moon has been from far the world champion of all times in multiplying unsubstantial proclamations, making recurrent unfulfilled prophecies and celebrating non-existent victorious landmarks.

Shouldn’t this raise a lot of fundamental and puzzling questions in Unificationists’ minds concerning the consistency of their spiritual odyssey?  What then can one learn from the UM recurrent bogus narratives?

Speculating on a hypothetical past which never occurred was certainly easier to do for Rev Moon than predicting an imminent future everyone would irrefutably be able to witness.

DP and Rev Moon taught us how human history would have been drastically changed if chosen key figures had been "victorious". We were then solely dealing with hypothetical situations which never took place. In such fantasized narratives imagination and magical thinking could easily invite themselves and such predictions hardly be invalidated since they were pure speculative scenarios. For example:

-If Jesus had married his half-sister he wouldn’t have been crucified.

-If John the Baptist had united with Jesus, the Israelites would have welcomed Jesus and the kingdom of God would have been established.

-If Jesus would have met with the Roman Emperor, the Romans would have followed Jesus.

-If proper conditions had been met in Charlemagne’s time, then the Kingdom of God would have begun at that moment.

-If Christians had welcomed Rev Moon in 1945, the kingdom of God would have been established by 1952. Etc…

However, what happens when we presently analyze through the same lenses, the recent "providential" history that did take place right in front of our eyes, centered on the supposed Second Coming? Did real observable happenings confirm the pattern of rapid visible providential changes, as predicted by Rev Moon? Did our first hand experience and objective reality validate the seductive DP theory?

For example:

- When in 1985 after his Danbury imprisonment, Rev Moon was "victoriously welcomed" by many renowned Christian ministers in the US, did American Christians come to see him as the Second Coming?

-Did Rev Moon’s "victorious meeting" with Soviet President Gorbatchev in 1990 bring Russians to accept True Parents, follow them and ask for their blessing?

-Which outstanding providential Korean achievement can we witness since Rev and Mrs Moon met with Kim Il Sung more than 30 years ago? Did that meeting consequently result in the peaceful reunification of North and South Koreas?

-After True Parents' "glorious Coronation" at the US Senate in 2004, did Americans suddenly come to follow and welcome them as Divine saviors, like the Romans would have done if Jesus had met their Emperor?

All these hectic "providential moves" had objectively no impact whatsoever in the world. They dramatically disprove Rev Moon's claims and his so-called intimate understanding of God's Providence. Furthermore the now exposed corruption within the Moon family is becoming an insurmountable challenge for loyal deceived believers who have now to confront this ugly reality.

If by faith, highly expected fantasies could easily fit within speculative explanations, how can we today make stubborn unwanted outcomes fit within unsubstantiated "victorious" narratives?

Even though such a shocking awareness is probably hard to accept for Unificationists, one can’t but reach the cruel following conclusion:

The Unificationist messianic delusion has clearly been set up by a megalomaniac usurper who has deceitfully utilized the DP misleading interpretation for self-aggrandizement.

Whoever builds on lies is not wiser than the one who builds on sand.

At some point, we all need to face reality, acknowledge our past poor choices, leave behind the cumbersome luggage of fallacious UM narratives and keep moving upward to serenely reach solid higher ground.

There can't be any serene future nor any lasting happiness within the Moons' unchecked "lie-lie land"...
