Beyond the mooniverse

A liberating perspective on the deceptively idealized Unification Movement and its idolatry of the Moon family. May these insights help misled generous souls to break free from the Unificationist treacherous manipulation and subtly induced spiritual enslavement, with love and forgiveness...

IS GOD A LIAR AND AN UNPREDICTABLE BULLY?

Did you know that the Unificationist messianic legend stipulates that God is a liar who supposedly lied twice to Rev Moon when he was “discovering the Divine Principle”?

Isn’t such a grotesque statement rather downshifting Heaven as just another unsafe and unreliable place?

Those who keep describing God as both a liar as well as an emotionally disturbed and unforgiving authoritarian master, are simply imagining Him in their own image.

And so did Rev Moon, the unpredictable self-appointed messiah who unilaterally persuaded himself to perfectly know everything from “God’s point of view”.

In fact Rev Moon’s anthropomorphic religious perspective definitely derived from simplistic mythical narratives and from fantasized Old Testament characters he had identified with. These Biblical myths happened to perfectly match his own fiery authoritarianism. He furthermore perceived that extrapolating from these narratives could provide him a golden opportunity to quench his obsessive thirst for grandeur.

Can we actually grasp what it precisely implies to think and to feel from Rev Moon’s psychopathic point of view on “God’s point of view”?

How would we expressly feel and think if we were completely one in mind and heart with the “absolute” temperamental Unificationist God and His plain cruel so-called Providence?

-First we would solemnly bless our beloved children and the next moment curse them- as well as all their descendants - simply because the eldest ones had a sexual relationship at 17.

-We would decide centuries later to annihilate at once all humankind from the face of the earth- except one family- because the generation of that time were misbehaving .

-We would later bluntly demand a faithful loving father to kill his precious unique son just to prove his unconditional loyalty and obedience to nonsensical orders

-We would force into slavery for 400 years the chosen community we “love” simply because one of their ancestors wouldn’t have properly sacrificed two innocent pigeons

-We would also warn Hebrews through the absolute 10 Commandments that we really hate murder while asking them to mercilessly kill some of their own people at our command as well as other people we would specifically designate here and there.

-We would generously promise our chosen people “a land where milk and honey will abound” and abruptly order them to either kill or ruthlessly use as slaves the previous owners of that prosperous land. Otherwise we would punish and kill our chosen ones for not obeying such order.

-We would keep honoring the leadership of a lustful king who had viciously resorted to murdering a man whose wife he outrageously coveted.

-While specifically condemning adultery as one of the biggest sins, we would praise as a model of wisdom a king who was living with hundreds of concubines.

-For unificationists that would explain and justify that in the midst of the 20th century we would then be particularly elated at seeing Rev Moon engaging in countless "redeeming" adulteries under the pretenses of salvation.

-For the same reason we would also day in day out encourage and lead trusting believers to sacrifice and dedicate their entire lives long as obedient slaves of  a dysfunctional Korean family.

- Lastly “at the culminating point of the history of restoration” we would be so happy to solemnly crown as the Emperor of the Universe a deceitful Korean religious abuser. Besides we would of course serenely hand him over the highest position in Heaven for a Divine reward .

It’s no wonder that most people can’t believe in such an unfair tyrannical God nor in his nonsensical "providence". Who actually would like to spend his/her eternal life in company of this unreliable Unificationist God? That would definitely not be Heaven, would it?

That’s also the deep-seated reason why I can’t believe in Rev Moon’s divine mandate. So I do refuse to participate in his megalomaniac agenda and promote idolatry as a spiritual path.

Jesus never asked to be worshipped and clearly took distance with the mythical OT narratives. He taught that God was our loving father and that we were unconditionally forgiven and gratuitously saved through forgiving others as we have been forgiven.

Rev Moon has been cherry picking strangest Old Testament mythical stories (Adam and Eve, Jacob, Tamar, Salomon…) as a cheap way to justify his wild ambitions and his own misbehaviors under the cover of “God’s providence”. He then became an unpredictable religious bully and a proven pathological liar. His undeniable charisma permitted him for years to cheat and take advantage of thousands of trusting followers and their families.

The recent news in Japan after Prime Minister Abe’s assassination are finally exposing the harmful activities of this predatory Korean messianic scam. Loyal Unificationists have naively kept believing and 100% obeying a spiritual swindler they had mistaken with a messiah.

We are now at the twilight of the misleading Mooniverse.

At last the blessed time for the serene epilogue of a messianic delusion…
