THE DECEITFUL MIND OF GENUINE MANIPULATORS

Obviously our emotions can easily be manipulated. Mentioning utopian love and global peace can emotionally disarm young idealistic people. Manipulators can easily prey on them and take advantage from their longing for relationships based on trust.

“We love you so much!” sometimes means “We love (to control) you so much!” Sun Myung Moon was a perfect master at using such ambiguous messages of which the central part (to control) remained unspoken. Such genuine lie is manipulators’ way to subtly dominate others through their emotions.

Manipulators first let you know sweet love which makes you “Indebted” to them: Let’s suppose someone claims he/she did something beneficial for you without you knowing… At first you would be skeptical and question what that person’s intentions are. So, what if the answer is “To let you know God’s aching heart and His need of you”? …

Did not Sun Myung Moon cleverly state: “I love you more than your own parents…I love your parents more than you love them yourselves”? Didn’t he pretend again and again he suffered “so much” for us?

A legend without any substantial reality can easily be set up. It just take to reinterpret past events and to combine them with other people real experiences.  Fake heroes “borrow” other people’s sufferings and good deeds to brag around. Manipulators keep inventing new lies to build their fascinating biography. That‘s how they inspire their naïve “believers” and possibly seduce potential new ones.

Somehow everyone should then feel “indebted” toward SMM. That’s the sole objective of the dramatic scenarios he recurrently shared with apparent tearful sincerity…

Narcissistic predators know well how to seduce their prey and manipulate them. They will start smoothly and then things will become harsher and harsher. Past the sweet hypnotic honey moon a new reality will soon start appearing.

Manipulators have no limits.  When necessary, they can play the victim and induce guilty compassion in those they want to control emotionally. Manipulators will keep pretending it’s their victims’ fault if this or that happened. They usually refer to situations or events these people had absolutely no hold upon. That’s how mind control operates and keep people prisoners in cells without walls.

Sun Myung Moon recurrently reminded his followers their abyssal unworthiness in front of “True Parents”. Unificationists should only focus on the glorious eternity to come. They should feel ashamed to think about petty concerns as their personal tastes, their personal ambition or carrier. Nazis loved Hitler. North Koreans loved Kim Il Sung and most dictators are loved by their victims. These are repeatedly reminded how privileged and loved they are… while the rest of the world is evil and doomed to be destroyed.

They are told to believe that their own garden is greener than their neighbor’s garden they are forbidden to look at. Starving North Koreans should be so grateful not to live in any other country where things are much worse and hopeless…

Unificationists are so privileged to have met True Parents and drunk holy wine. They can sacrifice their entire life and be exploited over and over. Nonetheless they should be so grateful and so happy to occasionally be rewarded with a wonderful picture from “True Parents”…

Finally your love for your guru becomes your identity: The genuine sincerity of manipulated people and their obedient behavior generates a powerful dynamic. It becomes for them the absolute proof of the divine value of their mission. Their guru’s utopia is ceaselessly reminded in order to keep a hold on them, and push them to work harder. It creates emulation within the group and weaves strong bonds of camaraderie and unity among the “chosen ones”.

The manipulators’ glory and the fulfillment of their narcissistic ideal become inseparable. The gurus pretend to have the monopoly of God. Their degree of acceptance in the world becomes also the barometer of success for the manipulated followers’ lives.

It totally justifies any irrational high demand from God’s representatives. Obedient followers are totally accountable for the results. They should always feel guilty for the non-fulfillment of the unreachable objectives they are given.

No logical argument will ever shake the loyal followers’ blind faith anymore. Their beliefs have become their identity. Any opposition even strengthens their irrational loyalty toward their omnipotent manipulator and so-called savior.

Therefore it’s definitely wiser to deal directly with God than with the self-proclaimed “True Parents” and their lucrative blessing trafficking…

Let’s be careful when the label “true” is mentioned. We could just be facing a Tyrant Retraining Useful Emotions or a Theological Rip-off Using Embezzlement…
